- When acquiring financing, it's also important to make sure that your lender's mortgage commitment meets your specific time frames. A pre-sale home can take a long time to be built – the last thing you would want is for your lender's mortgage commitment to expire before the actual closing date.

- Read up on your builder before signing on the dotted line. If the company is notorious for extensive delays, broken promises or buildings that stray far from the written plan, you can likely find that information on the Internet.

Toddler tantrums tend to be embarrassing and rather noisy. They occur never in the right place or the right time and that can be either at home or when shopping.  Let us look at them from the child’s point of view. They are almost always the result of frustration, anger or not being in control of a situation.

I remember reading that the child seat on the supermarket trolley is the most powerful weapon that food producers have when targeting young customers who also happen to be our children!  It is a gift for them and torture for the parents. Of course the child cannot tell the difference between an advertisement, infomercial o the TV program associated with his favourite TV character.  They are all rolled into one and he wants that snack or cereal with his favourite character.

This means that shopping in a supermarket with a young child is not a good idea. They are more likely to get tired, hungry and frustrated rather easily and that is the perfect recipe for toddler tantrums.  Dealing with anger management for children at any age is no fun.  This is why it is always a good idea to get help with baby parking or baby sitting so that you are free to do this errand on your own and you will save loads of time as well.

When the tantrum does explode, always be ready with a distraction. It is a good idea to have a stock of these near at hand and they should be a variety. This helps us to take advantage of the child’s very short attention span.

Adult reasoning with a toddler simply does not work.  This sort of reasoning which is based on postponement, logic, rewards after waiting, all mean nothing to a child. They cannot and do not think that way at all. Yet many parents shout and even insist that this is the way to do things and insist on imposing their timetable on the tired and hungry child. It is always wise to have a snack or two at the ready when hunger strikes.

It takes courage to ignore toddler tantrums when the above strategies do not work, especially if you are in a public area. It is easier at home and then when things calm down, to talk the child through why his behaviour was so upsetting.  Wee need to stress that requests are made verbally although this will depend on the child’s age. Preparing for 2012

                                              PREPARING FOR 2012

As we move toward 2012, there are many small things you can do now to impact your online
efforts in 2012 and below are a few things you may want to do.

1) Review all your capture pages and make sure all the links on the pages work properly.

2) Test your form codes on all capture pages to ensure everything is working correctly.

3) Review your AR messages and make sure they are all up to date and don't contain any
   bad links, misspelled words or other mistakes.

4) Check your ad trackers and make sure they all direct to the page they are supposed to.
   The trackers are going to direct to whatever link you put in and if the page URL you
   inputted is no longer working, the link will redirect to your 12SC affiliate page.
   If you find any that do this, edit them to direct to one of your other pages.

5) Look at your capture pages and make sure all the images are correct and working.
   Now is a good time to add new images or content to your pages.

6) Make sure you have the correct contact information on your capture pages and in your AR messages.

7) Check your emails and make sure you have the correct emails on all your pages in the AR and in your AR messages.

8) Review your rotators and be sure you don't have any dead links in any rotators you are using.
   Replace any links you are no longer using with new links to other offers and opportunities.

9) Evaulate your current programs to be sure you want to stick with what you have.

13) Take some time for yourself between now and the New Year and recharge the
    batteries so to say so you can hit the ground running in 2012.

14) Create a new budget for 2012 for your advertising and program expenses.
